UNLEASHED is a call to every photographer who doesn’t believe in being constrained by a theme. As the first photography contest of the National Photographic Society, we want every photographer to capture what their hearts desire. Submit your favorite images with no bounds or limits to themes and interpretations, and let our viewers decide the winners through a fair and equitable process. This is your chance to get under the limelight, get guaranteed cash prizes of $500 and unparalleled promotions!

RULES
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS
The winners of this contest will be decided through popular votes. Every visitor shall get a maximum of two votes and they can allocate them to any photograph(s) of their choice. You’re welcome to solicit your friends and family members to visit the entries, vote for you, and cheer you on.

Please note that The National Photographic Society reserves the right to overrule the voting results if they notice any breach in voting rules.

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS
Make sure your photographs adhere to the following guidelines:

The image submitted must be original, and cannot come from any stock photos.

All images submitted must be owned by you, or you should have the right to represent them on behalf of the photographer.

All images must be in JPG or JPEG format with a minimum quality of (90%) or higher.

Make sure to resize your pictures to 1000 pixels on the longest dimension.

All files must be less than 2 MB.

You can make basic adjustments to the image as long as it doesn’t alter its content. For example, adjusting contrast, exposure, dust removal, etc. are acceptable

Do not make adjustments by adding or removing an element from the image.

Your submissions must not have any copyright symbols, watermarks, signatures, names, or personal logos on them.

We only accept bleed photographs except for polaroids or any other processes that make borders an inherent part of the image.

You have the widest latitude to interpret the category of a contest in your own way.

The winners shall be awarded guaranteed cash prizes of $500.
FIRST PRIZE - Guaranteed $200 cash, Certificate of Recognition, Social Media Promotions, Email Campaigns
RUNNER-UP PRIZE - Guaranteed $150 cash, Certificate of Recognition, Promotions on social media and email campaigns
MERIT PRIZE - Guaranteed $100 cash, Certificate of Recognition, Promotions on social media

ENTRY FEE
The entry fee for each photo in any Contest Category varies from $4-$10 based on the number of entries made. For the maximum number of entries made, each image only costs $4 to enter. This is a non-refundable fee. The breakdown is as follows:

$10 for 1 photo - $10/entry
$25 for up to 3 photos - $8.33/entry
$35 for up to 5 photos - $7/entry
$45 for up to 7 photos - $6.43/entry
$50 for up to 10 photos - $5/entry
$90 for up to 20 photos - $4.50/entry
$100 for up to 25 photos - $4/entry

To enter more than 25 photos, simply repeat the submission process.

* Cash prizes are always sent via PayPal by direct bank transfer. If the recipient doesn’t have a PayPal account, you can create one HERE.
** Depending on the quality and quantity of submissions, additional finalists will be awarded certificates of recognition for each category.
